The G. W. Anglin facility features a gamut of cutting-edge equipment and machinery, but without the skill and care of our expert operators in conjunction with our exacting quality standards we would not have the ability to produce the products and services that secure our unparalleled customer loyalty. Our custom fabrication department is capable of the design and manufacture of complex systems and long-term team members allow for continuity of product knowledge year after year.
The GWA blanking center is uniquely structured to process complex and cost-effective parts in a variety of designs, materials, and specs. Our cutting center is equipped with a Weidemann turret punch and plasma cutting system capable of processing hot and cold rolled steel, aluminum, and stainless up to one inch in thickness. Also, our Trumpf L-3030 4000 watt laser system is equipped with a programmable automated material handling system which allows constant unmanned loading and unloading and our laser cutting system is capable of processing materials up to 19mm in thickness. The precision of our blanking operations is demonstrated in our ability to run “lights out” production and leading companies rely on our unprecedented control when it comes to their demanding specifications.
Our engineering support is also extensive. With multiple seats of interactive IRONCAD software we are able to accept customer data in various formats and develop complex three-dimensional information into two-dimensional blanks. Our innovative approach to blanking and use of programming for complex contouring minimizes the need for costly tools and capital expenditures. Rapid set-ups help reduce inventory and avoid obsolescence, which allows us to provide highly competitive price points.
G.W. Anglin’s bending department is equipped to service unique customer needs with the possibility of processing one-off designs or extended production runs. Press brake bending is complimented with three CNC autogage 2000 systems allowing for consistent and precise bending. However, the Amada Astro 100 robotic bending system is the standout of our automated bending department. Operated via computer-controlled programs, the Amada is unlike any other bending system. Equipped with robotic load and unload features and operations repeatable to 0.004” the Amada offers unparalleled production accuracy which makes component and mating parts assembly easy and efficient.
G.W. Anglin’s flexibility and commitment to the automation process extends to our welding division as well. Our welding department is staffed with certified technicians trained to process sheet metal, plate, stainless steel, and aluminum. Motoman robotic weld cells and an Arc World II dual head robotic welder are used to ensure weld integrity and accuracy.
GWA has gained a competitive advantage by employing integrated innovation to process customer production requirements quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively.
